We will be doing two biker blessings coming up in April. In order to be prepared to do these blessings requires us to be prayed up ourselves.
CPR
A few of us took the CPR class Saturday. The world is a lot safer now!!
Keep in Touch
Yeah our riding season is over for this year. Let’s not let the weather keep us from fellowshipping with each. Call one another from time to time
Winter Tip
Covering your bike while it is being stored for the winter helps to keep dust and other elements off of it.
Winter Preps
Getting colder, making sure to take some quick steps will keep your bike ready for the next ride. For instance, put a battery tender on your bike. This will keep the battery fully charged during the cold months.
Be Charged Up
keep a close check on your battery fluid. Low fluid can cause your battery to lose it’s charge. Check your battery soon
pretrip
As I get prepared for the Fall Ride on the 16th of October. I have already planned the ride, but preparations doesn’t stop there. I still have to do the pretrip ride. With the pretrip, I know where I am going, if the is road construction, where gas stations are, places to eat. I want my ride to go as smooth as possible. I want everyone to enjoy the ride. I want a safe ride for everyone involved. The pretrip is well worth the little effort it takes.
Kick Stands
when parking your bike make sure the kick stand is fully extended and locked in place or you may throw your rider!
New Tires
I looked at several different places for a back tire for my Goldwing. The prices range from $200 to $300. I finally found one at Cycle Gear on St. Charles Rock Road for $162.49! What a deal! That was not installed, but a super price. Need a tire? Hook up with Cycle Gear!
